Leawood, KAN (Nov. 22, 2016): The Mid-America Asian Culture Association (MAACA) and founder and President, Carol Wei has been honored with awards from the national 13th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business program. The Mid-America Asian Culture Association organization received the national 2016 Silver Stevie Award for Organization of the Year in the Government or Non-Profit-10 or Less Employees category.
Carol Wei, founder and President of the Mid-America Asian Culture Association, was honored with the national 2016 Gold Stevie Award for Female Innovator of the Year in the Non-Profit Organization–10 or Less Employees category.

The national Stevie Awards for Women in Business is a highly-esteemed program that recognizes female entrepreneurs, executives and leaders and their organizations in select categories.
MAACA was honored to receive the Proclamation issued by Mayor Carl Gerlach, designating the day as Asian Cultural Day. From now on all Asian Americans have our own holiday. The celebration of the holiday will promote Asian culture awareness and help to create culture diversities in the Greater Kansas City area.
